"Not All Those Who Wander Are Lost." – Tolkien

One of the things we quilters love to do is travel!

We love to travel to quilt festivals to take classes, see the award-winning quilts, and meet fellow quilt-a-holics.

We love to travel to collect textiles and crafts from other cultures.

We love to travel to take photos that might inspire a future quilt.

We love to travel so we have an excuse for handwork.

We love to travel with other quilters so we can drink wine and eat chocolate and buy fabric without feeling guilty.

But mostly…. we love to travel because wherever we go… we meet others who are all part of the big worldwide club of People Who Love to Sew.

Where are you traveling next?

* The collage above is made from several fabrics at eQuilter, but the map photo in the center is from the Doctors Without Borders offices in New York. (Pins represent where DWB physicians are working overseas.) *
