Whatever your style…quilt colorfully! This annual judged competition is open to quilters working in any style, and who like to play with color to create a vibrant work! A $1,000 Best of Show Award and three $500 prizes each in Traditional, Modern, and Art categories will be awarded. We are looking for quilts, either by hand or machine, appliquéd, pieced, or wholecloth. Any technique may be used as long as it is appropriate for the quilt (consisting of three layers) and the theme.
- All styles traditional, modern, and art are acceptable.
- Limit two (2) entries per person.
- Each work must measure a minimum of 48” on each side.
- The quilt can be NO LONGER than 86” ON A SIDE.
- There is a nonrefundable $20 submission fee.
- There is no “made after” date requirement.
- Call closes on April 14, 2022.
- Awards to be presented on August 4 at the Long Beach Quilt Festival.
