To make this 57″ x 57″ quilt design, you will start with the 24″ x 44″ scenic panel, featuring a wandering bear in the foreground, a forest reflected in a lake, and a hawk soaring into a starry sky. The side panels are cut from a large scale ombre forest scene that stretches across the selvedge. Use a Stone texture and pale blue Hoffman Hand-Dye to create the illusion of a window floating on a set-in diamond shape background.
