We have so many new products every week, it is hard to stuff everything in this weekly New Product newsletter. If you love cheerful Thirties prints (who doesn’t?!), I want to make sure you don’t miss all of the “Picture Perfect” precuts that came in this week – by American Jane for Moda.
This coming week I am traveling to the SAQA Summit in San Diego, to speak about Art and Activism. I will also be at the reception Thursday night, at the Visions Museum of Textile Art. Hope to see several of you there!
The winners of the International Quilt Festival in Houston were just announced, and we want to give a special congratulations to Roberta Lagomarsini, the winner of the $5000 eQuilter Master Award for Contemporary Artistry. Because the winners were announced so early, it means that there will not be an awards ceremony on Tuesday night before Festival opens. (In case you were wondering.)

It has been a bit of an emotional roller coaster week. After attending a funeral early this week, I found out another friend had died, but then heard that my international opera singer friend is at Carnegie Hall in November. (He debuted at the Met last Fall.) So we take life one day at a time, and celebrate when we can. I am sure you can relate.
