Travel is fun and
inspirational but after 3 trips in a row I am happy to be home for
Thanksgiving. Yesterday our oldest son turned 30 – Happy Birthday to Mason! I
am grateful that we can still all get together for birthdays and holidays.
This weekend we are opening registration for MJ
Kinman‘s class next March 6-8, 2020. MJ’s Gemstone patterns and Fat Quarter
kits have been wildly popular, and she is featured in the current Kentucky
issue of QuiltFolk magazine.
I asked MJ to make a special multicolor version of her 48″ x 48″
gorgeous Elizabeth Diamond pattern, and we call
it the Rainbow Unicorn Diamond! You will see on the cover of the Elizabeth
Diamond pattern (in stock now) that she offers a few different tonal color
combinations, but she will also offer this Rainbow Unicorn version in the
workshop as an eQuilter exclusive. We are excited to have MJ back in our
classroom soon!
Many thanks to all of you who have contributed to my
fundraiser for Earthworks. I am so excited that we have topped $2K, and I
would appreciate you sharing with those who might want to support this environmental
cause! I am donating my Rocky Mountain Quilt and hope to raise $5K by next
weekend. Everyone who contributes will be invited to a Virtual Tea – an online
webinar about my work as an artist – and featuring photos I’ve taken in my
travels around the world in 2019. I will be sending out details for this
Virtual Tea event to all of my GoFundMe contributors as soon as the fundraiser
ends.
We will be opening up registration soon for Susan Carlson and Paula Nadelstern for next year, so if
you want advance notification before these open to the public, contact Customer
Service and we’ll give you a 24 hour lead to sign up before it is posted
publicly.

as well.
