As I write this newsletter, we are prepping our classroom for the CQC workshop tomorrow, and the teacher Victoria Findlay Wolfe who is visiting from New York. Tomorrow this room will be humming with sewing machines and happy creative people.
We are so excited to see so many of the fabrics from Quilt Market flowing through our warehouse this week. I’m sure you spotted some these extra special fabrics in the newsletter above – and now more than ever I am enjoying the young designers and talented artists whose creative visions are gracing the quilt industry.
I’ve spent this last week celebrating my 60th birthday with friends and family, and now I am looking ahead to our 20th anniversary in March 2019. Despite all these years, there is always something new to amaze and delight all of us here at eQuilter.
You will see a new charity recipient when you check out. Over the last year I’ve been getting to know The Wild Foundation, and appreciating their work in Africa and China. You can click through to their site on our charity page if you’d like to know more about their work to save endangered wildlife.
If you are in our area, or are passing through Boulder next weekend, please come to our Holiday Open House on Saturday from 1-5 pm. We are inviting our customers, friends, neighbors and staff to celebrate our new building, and see what our new location has to offer. If you can RSVP it will help us plan for food and drink.
