My brother and his kids are visiting from Southern California, and I think they wished too hard for a White Christmas! It started snowing on Christmas afternoon and by Friday we had a record-setting 12" of snow in Boulder!
Every year we all seem to be busier, but we still find time to sew and quilt amid our busy lives. This time of year I am always writing out my goals for the upcoming year, because I find I get more accomplished if I make a list… even if I don't do everything on the list. The list seems to get longer every year, so my next task is to prioritize the top 10, especially the top 5 goals. Do you make To-Do or Goal Lists too?
My trip to New Zealand is coming up fast, but first this week Paul and the kids are going to Hawaii for his dad's funeral. Because he was a WWII vet, he will be laid to rest at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, otherwise known as the Punchbowl.

This week I'll be staying home to run the business, organize my studio, and feed the pets while the family is out of town. It is one of my favorite weeks of the year…. dreaming and planning for the year to come. How about you?
