Cotton Mako 80 is very lightweight, delicate enough for English paper piecing and hand applique yet can be used in the machine as well when a light touch is needed. This beautiful thread from Aurifil is a long staple Egyptian cotton, giving the strength needed for high speed machines. Cotton Mako is also mercerized, giving it a lovely sheen. Better than a box of chocolates, these threads can be enjoyed guilt free! 45 spool thread set from Aurifil. Recommended Needles: Microtex/sharps 70/10 or 80/12. Each spool is 300 yards, 80 weight, 100% cotton.
