Have all the essential colors of Aurifil's fine 80 weight Cotton Mako thread at your fingertips with this impressive boxed set. Cotton Mako 80 is very lightweight, delicate enough for English paper piecing and hand applique yet can be used in the machine as well when a light touch is needed. This beautiful thread from Aurifil is a long staple Egyptian cotton, giving the strength needed for high speed machines. Cotton Mako is also mercerized, giving it a lovely sheen. Better than a box of chocolates, these threads can be enjoyed guilt free! 45 spool thread set from Aurifil. Recommended Needles: Microtex/sharps 70/10 or 80/12. Each spool is 300 yards, 80 weight, 100% cotton.
