Material requirements include: (35) 1/6 yd fabric pieces in assorted colors for curved spikes, points and stars; 3/8 yd piece of fabric for spikes; 1/3 piece of fabric for spikes; 1-1/4 yds fabric for outer border; 1/2 yd fabric for inner border; 1/2 yd fabric piece for spikes; (2) 1/8 yd fabric pieces for spikes and points; (2) 1/4 yd fabric pieces for spikes and points; 10" x 44" striped fabric piece for border; 4 yds fabric for background; 4-1/2 yds backing.
