This oilcloth has a special coated surface so that it behaves like a chalkboard! Sew it into a wallhanging just like a chalkboard, then break out the chalk and have fun! It is important to cure your new ChalkCloth before you use it the first time. This is done by laying a piece of chalk on it's side on the surface of the ChalkCloth and rubbing it all over- side to side and top to bottom. Repeat once more and it's ready to use! 47" wide chalkboard fabric, by Oilcloth International. Recommended instructions: needle size: 90/14, teflon presser foot, monofilament thread size: .005, cool iron with pressing cloth between iron and cloth. Wash with warm soapy sponge, dry with soft cloth.
