This fantastically intricate applique quilt depicts a welcoming village bordered by wild animals. Pattern includes applique templates and instructions for the recommended method of applique preparation. Material requirements include: 7 1/2 yds background; 2 yds fence, 1/8 yd chimney; 1/2 yd contrasting fabric for inner border; various fabrics for appliques; 9 yds backing; 1 yd binding; king size batting. Paper Piecing Hexagon - 420 with 3/4 inch sides, and 400 with 1/2" sides. 'Village' quilt pattern by Kim McLean. Finished size is 92" x 92".
