This quilt pattern is designed by Tara Evans, an artist specializing in Modern Quilts based out of Canada. Prairie Sky uses traditional piecing, paper piecing, and applique for an intermediate level project. Quilt comes in two sizes, with 2 Tone and 5 Tone options.
Fabric Requirements include: 2 Tone Throw - 2 1/2 yds each tone #1 and #2, 66" x 70" batting, 3 3/4 yds backing, and 1/2 yd binding; 5 Tone Throw - 1 1/4 yds each tones #1 and #3, 1/2 yd each tones #2 and #5, 2 yds tone #4, 66" x 70" batting, 3 3/4 yds backing, and 1/2 yd binding; 2 Tone Bed - 4.5 yds each tones #1 and #2, 78" x 102" batting, 6 yds backing, 3/4 yd binding; 5 Tone Bed - 3 yds tone #1, 3/4 yd tone #2, 2 1/4 yds tone #3, 2 3/4 yds tone #4, and 3/4 yds tone #5.
