The yarns for this unique tweed are made from post-consumer oyster shells, which are crushed, mixed with plastic (PET) from recycled plastic bottles and spun into yarn which is naturally anti-static, anti-odor, anti-bacterial, quick drying, and soft to the touch. The result is a fashionable, sustainable, and eco-friendly fabric. Machine was cold, tumble dry low, iron on low no steam, okay to dry clean. 57" wide, 25% recycled seawool PET, 49% poly, 26% rayon, yarn-dye, from the 'Seawool Highlands Tweed' collection by Robert Kaufman Fabrics.
