This beautiful thread from Aurifil is a long staple Egyptian cotton, giving the strength needed for high speed machines. It has a soft sheen because it is mercerized. Because of its slightly thicker weight, it is perfect for use sewing bags and more defined topstitching or quilting. It is also terrific for Single, Double or Triple Strand Cross Stitch and Hand Piecing. Suggested needle: 80/12, 90/14 or 75/11. 100% Egyptian Mako cotton long staple, mercerized thread. 40 wt/2 ply, 1094 yds/1000 m, Color #2620. Made in Italy.
