The "Jack Stack" quilt is built from a single pattern piece, an equilateral triangle, cut from width of fabric strips with a 60 degree ruler. Stack the triangles in vertical rows and sew the rows together, simple as that! No "Y" seams, no hand piecing, no multiple mirror image pieces, just chain-pieced straight seams. Material requirements include: 3/4 yd yellow; 2/3 yd orange; 2/3 yd red; 1-3/4 yds for background and borders. 'Jack Stack' quilt pattern by Ruth Ann Berry of Fabric Therapy and The Quilter's Clinic. Finished size is about 40" x 62".
