Kyoto bamboo blend is a blend of 50% natural bamboo fibers and 50% staple cotton fiber manufactured in the USA. Bamboo is softer than cotton, biodegradable, hypo-allergenic which makes this and eco-friendly material. Bamboo and cotton fibers are punched to a thin scrim so no binders or resins were used in it's production. Kyoto's unique construction makes it ideal for machine quilting up to 8" apart, and it will not shift or shed through the cover of your quilt. For a hand sewn look do not pre-shrink simply use right out of the package. This batting will shrink approximately 3% after washing. Pre-shrink it by soaking in warm water for 15 minutes, roll and squeeze in a dry towel, allow to dry flat or in a dryer with a cool gentle setting. Kyoto Bamboo Blend Batting - CRIB SIZE 45" x 60", 50% bamboo/50% cotton, by Moda.
