This two-fabric applique dolphin design is elegantly simple! Just lay the applique fabric on top of the background fabric, cut away the parts of the applique fabric you don't need as you applique, exposing the background fabric. No templates, no numbering system, no positioning of small pieces to create the design. What could be easier? Materials needed: 3/4 yd(or 1 yd if used to bind the quilt) of background fabric; 3/4 yd (or 1 yd if used to bind the quilt) of applique fabric; 3/4 yd backing fabric; Thread to match the applique fabric; 27" x 39" batting; 27" x 39" double sided fusible web.
