Free Pattern – Snoopy the Flying Ace

Snoopy

This adorable Free Quilt Pattern features one of the most beloved comic/cartoon characters of all time – from the Peanuts Comic Strip by Charles M. Schulz.

In this 36″ x 52″ quilt, Snoopy imagines himself as a World War One flying Ace, flying through the sky in his doghouse, re-imagined as a Sopwith Camel airplane. (With his co-pilot Woodstock!)

One of our favorite Snoopy quotes, after a visit to the vet:
“They tortured me, but all I gave them was my name, rank and serial number!”

Did you know?
This British WWI single-seat biplane fighter was first seen on the Western Front in 1917. It was considered notoriously difficult to fly, but had extreme maneuverability. It was a brave canine pilot who stepped into this cockpit!

…featuring the ‘Snoopy The Flying Ace’ collection, a Peanuts fabric by Quilting Treasures.
