This beautiful, lightly variegated thread from Aurifil is a long staple Egyptian cotton, giving the strength needed for high speed machines. Cotton Mako is also mercerized, giving it a sheen. Makò 28 is a slightly heavier thread that can be used for sergers, machine and hand quilting, embroidery and red work. Long arm quilters use this thread for borders and edging. Suggested needle: 90. 28 wt/2 ply, 820 yds/750 m, Color #3910. Made in Italy.
