This beautiful thread from Aurifil is a long staple Egyptian cotton, giving the strength needed for high speed machines. It has a soft sheen because it is mercerized. Quilters love it for piecing and quilting in both top and bottom. Suggested needle: 70/10 or 80/12. 100% Egyptian Mako cotton long staple, mercerized thread. 50 wt/2 ply, 1422 yds/1300 m, Color #2562. Made in Italy.
