Foundation paper piecing carves the shapes and angles that make up this modern, low poly lion. Done on a large scale, this lion with starry eyes and a prismatic mane simply is mesmerizing. Material requirements include: 3/4 yd lt orange, 1 yd each (3) med orange fabrics, 3/4 yd red, 1/4 yd dk red, 1 1/4 yds background, 1/2 yd med gray, 1/4 yd dk gray, 1/4 yd black, 1/2 yd white, scraps of blue for eyes, 1/2 yd binding, 3 7/8 yds backing.
