The SCHMETZ Gold Topstitch Needle has a Titanium Nitride coating. The wear protection coating is significantly harder than the standard coating and ensures an extra-long needle life. The Gold Topstitch has a slightly rounded point and an elongated eye providing less stress on the thread as it passes through the eye.
