Floral and tropical motifs coalesce to create the image of vibrant Parrot in this newest collage pattern by Laura Heine. Material Requirements Include: 6" square of (3) different very light peach fabrics with slight print for beak; 6" square of solid black for beak and outline of wing; 6" square of dark blue with lighter splotchy blues for the beak and outline of wing and tail; 12" x 22" of large scale floral print (focus) with pink flowers and green leaves for the parrot; 6" x 10" of four additional medium to large scale florals with lighter values than aforementioned fabric; 6" x 10" of green/blue fabric with leaves for teh head (must coordinate with above fabrics); 10" x 10" of fabric with large scale yellow fabrics for the body; 6" x 22" of dark background floral fabric with butterflies for lower tummy; 6" x 10" of scallop fabric in light pink; 6" square of large black circle for eye; 10" x 10" fabric that can be cut to look like tail feathers; 6" square of dark gray for feet; 5" x 10" of gray/black fabric for the branch; 2/3 yards total o fat least (11) different green fabrics for the backgrounds. Fabrics should all coordinate and have a tropical feel to them. Sizes can range from 6" squares to about 6" x 10". 12" x 10" of dark blue fabric with tropical flowers for background cuttables; (2) additional dark blue floral or leaf fabrics for background and cuttables; 6" x WOF of fabric for binding; 20" Pattern Ease Foundation; 3 yards of 24' wide Steam a Seam 2 (eQuilter Product WAST5524); and 3/4 yds of fabric for the backing.
