Material requirements Include: 9" x 10" of yellow fabric with large floral motifs for neck and floral cuttables; 6" square of three different yellow fabrics with slight print that coordinate with aforementioned fabric; 5" x 10" of black fabric with a slight print for body; 6" square of (4) additional black fabrics with a slight value or color change for body. One fabric should be dark black, The other three can be very dark purples, blues or an additional black. 6" square of (3) different orange to red fabrics for the beak; 6" square of teal fabric for beak; 6" square of green fabric with slight print for the beak and circle around the eye; 6" square of blue/teal fabric for feet; 6" square of fabric for the hat; 4" x 22" of brown fabric with a mossy print for the branch; 6" x 10" of fabric with green and pink spiky print for the branch; 5" x 10" of (6) different fabrics and one 6" x 10" of black and white fabrics for the backgrounds; 12" x 10" of one focal floral fabric with cuttable black flowers for the background; 5" x WOF of fabric for the binding; 20" of Pattern Ease Foundation; 3.5 yds of 12" wide Steam-a-Seam (eQuilter code: WAST5440); and .75 yds of fabric for the backing.
