This unique moldable batting is heat-activated, and allows you to create unique, rigid, three-dimensional fabric designs. It is easy to cut with scissors or rotary cutter, does not fray and can easily be sewn through using standard needles and thread. It is activated in the range of 212 degrees to 265 degrees with an industrial hot air gun, costume steamer or a conventional steam iron. Ideal as a hidden stiffener to add stability and crispness to handbags, tote bags, placemats, and other craft projects.
