Hawaiian quilts are visually complex, yet very easy to make. This gorgeous pattern features a stunning orchid motif. Choose two contrasting fabrics for your quilt top, and a coordinating print for the backing. Pattern recommends using 100% polyester bonded batting to show off the echo quilting rows. Fabric requirements include: 1 1/8 yard applique fabric; 1 1/4 yard background fabric; 1/2 yard binding fabric; 1 1/4 yard backing fabric; 44" square batting. Orchid Oasis pattern, finished size is about 42" x 42", designed by Nancy Lee Chong, from Pacific Rim Quilt Company.
