Designed with the transitional seasons in mind, the Tamarack Jacket is a warm and stylish quilted coat perfect for spring and fall layering. Follow one of the two quilting designs included, or design your own to make your Tamarack totally original to you! You'll stay toasty thanks to the inner layer of batting, while the roomy welt pockets will keep your belongings safe and your hands warm. Suggested Fabrics: Main and Lining fabric - light to mid-weight cottons, linens, chambrays, and blends; Batting - high quality cotton, wool, bamboo or blend. Material Requirements using 45" fabric: Main Fabric - 2 1/2 yard sizes 0-14, 2 5/8 yard sizes 16-18; Lining Fabric - 2 1/2 yard sizes 0-14, 2 5/8 yards sizes 16-18. Material Requirements with 54" fabric: Main Fabric - 1 7/8 yards sizes 0-8, 2 yards sizes 10-18; Lining Fabric - 1 7/8 yards sizes 0-8, 2 yards sizes 10-18; Additional Requirements: 1/2 yard extra fabric OR 5 yards 1/2" wide double fold bias binding; 1/4 yard of 22-25" wide fusible interfacing; Twin Size or 72" x 80" high quality quilt batting; 4 coat hooks & eyes for View A, 4 heavy duty snaps for View B.
