Spread some joy and make the Besties quilt- a quilted version of friendship bracelets! The beginner-friendly applique pattern has directions for three sizes, but is meant for you to make your own! Make your own words, use your favorite colors, make more or less rows than the pattern suggest, put the fabric "beads" in whatever design and pattern you like- it's YOUR quilt! Show your love to your quilty friends and make them a Besties quilt! Material Requirements for Mini Quilt: 1/2 yd for background; Fat quarter for white beads; fat quarter or scraps for letters; scraps equaling 1/2 yd for colored beads; 1/4 yd for binding; 18" x 1-1/2 yds fusible web; 2/3 yd for backing. For Small Throw: 1-1/2 yds for background; 1/2 yd for white beads; fat quarter or 1/4 yd for letters; 3-5 fat quarters or scraps totaling 1 yard for colored beads; 1/2 yd for binding; 18" x 3-1/2 yds fusible web; and 1-3/4 yds backing. For Large Throw: 3 yds for background; 1 yd for white beads; 1/2 yd for letters; 6-8 fat quarters or scraps totaling 2 yds for colored beads; 1/2 yd for binding; 7 yds fusible web; and 3-1/2 yds for backing.
