Wales of all kinds mingle with friendly little fish in this quilt pattern using basic piecing techniques! Material Requirements include: (12) fabrics in 2 groups (A & B) for the small quilt and (36) fabrics in 6 groups (A, B, C, D, E and F) for the large quilt. Each color group will be used to make one group of whales and fish and includes the following listed lightest to darkest: Whale Fabric 1 - 1 fat eighth (9" x 21"); Whale Fabric 2 - 1 fat eighth; Whale Fabric 3 - 1 fat quarter (18" x 21"); Whale Fabric 4 - 1 fat quarter; Whale Fabric 5 - 1 fat eighth; Fish Fabric 6 - 1 fat eighth. Additional Fabric Requirements: Eye Fabric - 1/8 yd for small & large quilt; Light Solid detail fabric - 1/8 yd for small and 3/8 yd for large quilt; Background Fabric - 2-3/8 yd for small and 5-5/8 yd for large quilt; Backing Fabric - 3-1/4 yds for small and 5-1/4 yd for large quilt; Binding - 3/8 yd for small and 3/4 yd for large quilt; Batting - 52" x 52" for small quilt and 74" x 90" for large quilt.
